In March, I went to the lantern festival in Chiayi. They hold the lantern festival in a different place every year. This is the entrance of the food section.
A tiger lantern
They had a whole section of dinosaur lanterns. They had a dinosaur Batman, a dinosaur lantern slide, a giant volcano with pterodactyls, and a wedding. This is the mother and father of either the bride or the groom. The bride and groom were dressed in western wedding clothes.
This is a warning against drunk driving.
This section had a temple, a palace, and a giant lotus.
An art lantern
This guy was massive and changed colors.
This section had two temples you could walk through and a church. There was also a maze, and a lot of individual lanterns. Spongbob and Patrick were particularly well-represented.
